Military life is hard.

I have not posted for a while because I have not had the time to post. A lot has happened since my last post. Some things great and some not so but every thing is a part of life. Lets see the last thing I talked about was about the house we were trying to get. Which by the way we got!! It is so nice and if I had not been getting ready to deploy there would be pictures on here of the house.

Yes shortly after we got the house I was packing my bag for Afghanistand. Which is were I sit right now writing this. I will say that the stress of moving my family from one country to another, finding out the base housing waiting list is a year long and to top it off your leaving for deployment in a month or so puts a lot on your family and you.

Jesse and I have had a ruff time but things are starting to look up. Before I left things were very stressful for the both of us. Still is stessful for me but for Jesse his stress level is not as high as it was. I am sure he is still stressed out. He had to drop our son off at my parents because he is getting ready to train up for deployment.

Which SUCKS. We may not see each other for over a year. That alone is a lot for a relationship to take. Then you add the choices that one makes with out including the other and you start to wonder where things are going. I will say that once I left for here Jesse forgot to include me in on some things that he was planing on doing. Which he did and I got upset. I on the other hand had included him in on my choice to reenlist and with the way things have been and the fact that he is going to be deploying some time while I am deployed it makes me wonder if it was the right choice for us.

Jesse keeps a positive look on it because he says we can do this. I know we can but we both have to work at it. I just don't like being away from my boys. I miss them. I miss my hugs, kisses and laying beside my best friend. I also miss holding my baby and seeing him get big. He is almost walking, has teeth and is eating table food. With every thing that has been tossed our way we are some how working throught it an things are starting to look up.

I just hope I can take some R&R to see Jesse before he deploys!!

That is some good and bad things.

Thank you, Jesse

Jesse just emailed these adorable photos. Since Amy isn't able to post, I thought I'd share their precious family for her.
I'm guessing this is the new house? I don't know-but they sure do look happy!

He is the HAPPIEST baby. And look how cute he is. I miss rubbing his little head. I can't believe that he is going to be turning ONE in a month.

One week till we are in our house!!!

So we have been in a hotel for almost a month now but it will be worth it!! On March 7 we put an offer in on a house. They were asking $135,000.00 which we told them we would pay as long as they come to the closing table with $2,500.00 after the whole conter offer. Which they said yes too.

So we went a head with the whole process to get the house. The inspection, seeing how much the house is worth, and the whole waiting to see if we got the VA loan or not. Which I am very happy to say that the house is worth $133,500.00 which the sellers had to sell it to us for that much or not at all because of the VA loan. Luck for us they were fine with dropping the price to that and still come to the closing table with $2,500.00.

So we pushed through and on April 8 we will be closing on the house. I am so excited!! Jesse and I are about to home owners in a week. We all ready have room colors picked out for Tav's room, the kitchen and living room. Once we are in the house I will take some pictures and post them for you as soon as we have the net or when I can find a place with WiFi. Untill then later people!!!

We're back in the states

Well it has been a while since I have been on here to tell you all what has been going on but after you read this you'll understand what has been going on and how busy we have been.

Since the last post till now allot has been going on and it has been very stressful for us. From the 24 till the day before we left Jesse and I had trouble trying to find some one to buy our cars in Okinawa. Luckily we found some one to buy the surf around January 31 but we did not find some one till a few days before February 4 for the van, however they could not do the paper work for it till the 4. I was stressed wondering if Jesse would be coming home with Tav and me or not. Luckily every thing worked out and on February 5 we left Okinawa for the states.

On February 5 we landed in Seattle, Washington and visited with some friends. As well as stayed the night. Then on February 6 we left Seattle, Washington and heading for Flagstaff, Arizona. That was the worst flight Jesse and I have ever taken. We made our flight in Seattle, Washington but due to weather the plan sat on the run way because of that we were late landing in Phoenix, Arizona. We along with every one on the flight was told that our connecting flights knew of the delay and not to worry. So when we landed Jesse, Tav and I rushed to our gate only to be told that we could not get on the flight. US AIRWAYS had closed the door just as we got to the gate.

Which made Jesse and I a little upset. I was more upset then Jesse only because I had Tav in the baby carrier and ran with him from one gate to the next. Jesse went to the customer service desk and asked about the next flight that was departing at 9 pm. They told Jesse that it was booked and the next one was not till February 7 at 6 am. He then asked about our bags because we were not going to wait till the next day when we were only a few hours from Flagstaff. They told us that our bags had made it on the flight. Jesse was like ok well we will get them from the air port up there and we went to the rental car place.

We rented a car and drove up to Flagstaff. Jesse's mom and Tom meet us at the air port. Once we got there we went in to the air port for our bags but no one was there and when they did get there our bags were not on the flight we missed. Jesse then took all of us to his mom's house and dropped us off. He then went back by himself and waited for the last flight to come in to see if our bags had got on that flight. Luckily they did. We only stayed till February 9 but from the 6 to the 9 we visited with as many people as we could fit in. When we left on the 9 it was snowing and not pretty at all.

Jesse drove and took his time. We were not in the snow for very long only about an hour after we left his mom's house as we drove to see his dad in New Mexico. During the drive Tav was very good. We did not hear a peep out of the little guy. Once we got to Jesse's dad's house we visited with him till February 12. It was a nice few days. Jesse's dad loved having us around. Before we left we got Jesse's dad a Wii. Which they looked like little kids playing.

Any way when we left February 12 we stopped in Kansas City to visit with Jacob's family. Jacob was gone but we enjoyed our time with his wife Gina and little girl Brookie. We stayed there till February 13 which helped Tav with the long road trip we had to make from AZ to NC. After we left Kansas City we drove to Cincinnati, Ohio to visit with my parents and sister.

It was a nice visit but poor Tav got the 24 hour bug the day we were going to leave. So we ended up staying longer then planed. Once Tav was over that bug we left and spent a week and half with my brother in North Carolina. Which I do have to say that I got sick while staying with them and a few days after Jesse got sick. Luckly it was only a 24 hour bug for both of us. Which we think we got from Tav. Durning the week Jesse and I got sick we looked at houses. We did not find one until March 7.

We put in an offer and the seller took it. So now we are staying in a hotel since March 12 waiting to find out something about the house. We are hoping to close on it April 8. Other then that nothing new to tell you about.

Going, Going....almost Gone

So Jesse, Tav and I are so close to leaving Okinawa. We only have a week and half left. We have moved out of our house and are now living in a hotel till we leave. This should be fun.

Two adults and a little one just over seven months old in one room with a bath room. Luckily for Jesse and I, Tav can and will fall asleep in a very noise room. Which means Jesse and I can watch TV after Tav falls a sleep. Which is nice to have seeing how Jesse and I only had our TV hooked up to watch movies. Now we have more choices then just a movie!!!

It is sad in a way to be leaving Okinawa but at the same time exciting. Sad to leave the Okinawa culture and different life style but exciting because Tav gets to head back to the states and stay for a long time. Well as long as we are stationed there. Heaven only knows when Jesse will get orders to another place.

As for me I am going to get out when my enlistment is done. Which it will be in a year or so. But enough on that. I was writing this blog to let you all know that we are close to coming back. Our first stop is Jesse's family and then mine.

Which is smart because we are flying in to the west coast and well my family lives on the east coast. So we are going to work from the west coast to the east coast. Oh and we are only flying in to AZ and then driving from there to NC. It will be so much fun because Tav is starting to cut teeth! Well we have a week and half here and then we will be on a plan for the states!!

I so can not wait!! Walmart hear I come!!!!

New Year with new adventures...

So before the start of this year a friend of ours taught me how to clean up, remove and replug the hair on my little ponies. Not only that but how I could customize it to the way I want it. Well I enjoyed customizing my little pony so much that I started looking on eBay for my little ponies to buy. Just so I could custom more ponies or fix them up. Any way one of the items on eBay that I had bid on and won was a lot of my little pony clothing and other items. I did not in my wildest dreams ever think that I would get other items with that stuff. I was wrong. As I was going throught it looking at all the items in it I came across these little guys. Right of the bat I thought of my sister in law, Chrystal. She had wrote a blog about these little guys and how much she loved them and lost them along with some other childhood toys in a move. So these little guys will have a new home with her soon.

I plan on giving them to her when we stop by on our way to North Carolina. That is our next duty station. I so can not wait to be back in the states!!! Jesse thinks I am silly for cleaning every weekend since Christmas but I dont want that much to do after they move all our stuff out of this little place. Our life chapter of Okinawa is coming to a close and a new one in North Carolina is getting ready to start.
It is exciting to have a new adventure in the New Year. I wonder what Jesse, Aucatvine and I will learn this coming year. I wonder when Tav will learn to crawl, if he does at all. This year is just full of unknown wonders. I just hope and pray that this year will be full of joy and watching Tav grow. Every day he does something new, but he has not started crawling.
Tav just likes to roll and push him self back or forward on his belly but he does not crawl. Jesse really wants him to. I just keep saying he will in his time. However I will enjoy the rolling around for now. I know when this little guy learns to crawl it is all over. Just look at this face....

It has trouble writen all over it...I mean after all this is Jesse's son...LOL...I kidding he is too cute to get in to trouble!!!
